Suzette Rovelsky

So, I thought I should include a post about what I'm up to. Sorry ladies, I'm not engaged to be married. BUT, I am having a lot of fun still. Still majoring in Nutritional Science, I'm working in a cancer research lab, and I'm staying out here in Provo for the summer! If you want to get together anytime, let me know!

Above is a video I did with my co-chair for Activities. I don't really take many pictures (which I need to get better at), so I thought I'd include one of the funny videos we've made.

Life is good. And it's getting simpler now that I'm not in school. I give credit to anyone who can go year round. :)

Jessica & Taylor Simmons

December 2011
Jessica is such a sweetheart. I'm not surprised she got married, but it's hard not to love her.

Cami & Stephen Hall

Cami is being a little busy bee and arranging the wedding of her dreams, so I'll just show a cute picture and let you know her date. She'll update us on the details once her life settles down a little. :)

Janine & Bryce Allred

Janine was one of our Ward Mission Leaders. She is such a gem! Don't these two look so happy together? Here's their story:

How she met her husband: Ok, so my husband is actually my brother's old (and favorite) mission companion. The summer my brother got home from his mission, my family took a church history road trip to Utah, which is where Bryce, my husband, lived. My brother wanted to meet up with him so he spent the day with my family and we instantaneously became good friends. We kept in contact through texts, facebook, and phone calls until I came up to BYU the following winter semester. We dated, fell, in love, and finally got married!

How he proposed: It was the first nice day of 2011. Bryce picked me up from school and said we were going on a picknik. He bought us some Panda Express (his favorite fast food place, and I had never tried it) and we drove up to Mount Timpanogos park. After having eaten all of our delicious food we cracked open our fortune cookies. Mine said, sometime along the lines of, "A proposal awaits you." I laughed because I had been joking with Bryce for a long time about when he was finally going to propose. I asked him what his said and he handed me his fortune which read, "Will you marry me?" and he got down on his knee. I said YES! Of course, no one believed us because it was the day before April Fools!

When they got married: June 10, 2011

Audrey Ogden

Our good friend Audrey wrote me back about her recent adventures here at BYU. She is adorable! Did you guys know she has the cutest blog ever? Go to it here. And here's what Audrey has to say:

I'm doing pretty good! School has been beating me this semester, with 16 credits on my plate. But I've been learning a TON which has been great! I love learning. :) I'm getting along in my major pretty well and I'm feeling pretty confident about doing an internship in Washington D.C. next fall (2013)! Hopefully that works out because I think it would be great! I'm still busy working 20 hours a week. So that definitely keeps me pretty busy! But other then those two things, I'm just loving life. Loving my ward, my friends, and I'm VERY excited for summer! I'm planning on staying here this year, and I'm WAY excited! Partly because I'm rooming with Rachel Bailey! Which will be a party and a half. And because I will just be working with no school to worry about. :) So that's pretty much my life. :)

Morgan Ormsby & Jason Hadley

In september there was a knock on our door and four strangers walked in! They said they were just trying to meet new people. They gave us a little treat and got one of my roommates phone numbers and said they'd call and invite us over to do something. We didn't think they would, but they did! Those boys were Jason's roommates! So, they invited us over for breakfast and then later for games. After a few group things Jason got my number from my roommate and asked me on a date!  That's how it all started!

Introduction

So, I am just so excited for the sisters from our freshman ward that are moving on to bigger and better things, mostly with amazing wedding announcements! I realized I wanted to keep a memorabilia of all my sisters and how they ended up falling in love. Of course, with a majority of our sisters not engaged or married, I don't want to leave anyone out. Please send me a little paragraph with a picture, events you're involved in, etc.
